I'm Bud Gaines and I'm a new author and photographer. This site will house some of my photography portfolio which is heavily Carolina Renaissance Festival photography of The Craic Show as well as videos of their performances.

I've been writing since about November of 2006 when I began doing online roleplay with friends. I've since moved to creating my own sites for roleplay and that is what inspired my creation of Aren Chronicles as books. You can find more on Aren Chronicles at http://www.arenchronicles.com. I also write other series within this umbrella of series: The Quadrants, Allfather's Bastion, and Spellbound. There is also a web series called Warriors of DZI.

I started getting more into photography and videos this past season of the Ren Faire. I'm using a Pixel 6 Pro, a Pixel 4XL, and a Pixel 2. I have an Akaso V50X something or another that I got to test it, not a big fan of it but it's whatever now. I'm not sure how to fully proceed about it but I want to make it profitable in the future.

I would be happy to take some photographs if you're nearby. I currently reside in Statesville, North Carolina. I'm looking into getting a camera in the future for photos and video but for now my phone is doing me very well. As mentioned above I also write fantasy novels and would love to collaborate with people or write a story based on a suggestion from someone.
